Growth in joint procurement brings savings
In the CEO’s review, Anssi Pihkala tells us his three observations on public procurement. In his review, he explains what is good and what is too difficult in the Act on Public Procurement and Concession Contracts and comments on the processing times of complaints.
Operations
We continuously develop our procurement offering to our customers and our cooperation with contractual suppliers. Our vision is to be the preferred procurement partner. The work carried out was rewarded with the best satisfaction survey results ever.
Finances
Our operations continued to grow in 2025. The use of joint procurement approaches EUR 1.8 billion, which contributes to savings in public administration. The Finances section of the Annual Report contains the report of Hansel’s Board of Directors.
Renewing procurement
Our goal is to help our customers to carry out better procurement easier. In 2025, for example, we added new content to the Procurement Pulse service that supports the management of procurement and added a tendering basket feature to the Kisa-apuri (Competition Assistant) tool.
Sustainable procurement
Public procurement can promote various sustainability goals. At Hansel, each joint procurement is subject to a sustainability analysis. The impacts of procurement are also included in the tender planning we carry out for our customers.
Hansel as a workplace
The well-being and work ability of Hansel’s employees is regularly surveyed. In the 2025 survey, the average score was 4.23/5, which is a very good result. The pleasant work community, the work of supervisors, appreciation and good work ability are particularly praised.
GRI
Hansel reports on its sustainability in accordance with the GRI standard, and the reporting is based on the double materiality analysis. The sustainability report integrated into the annual report has been verified by an external party.
