Renewing procurement
Our goal is to help our customers to carry out better procurement easier. In 2025, for example, we added new content to the Procurement Pulse service that supports the management of procurement and added a tendering basket feature to the Kisa-apuri (Competition Assistant) tool.
The tendering basket adds a webshop-like feel to minicompetitions
We have developed the free Kisa-apuri tool to make it easier to carry out internal minicompetitions in joint procurements. In spring 2025, Kisa-apuri was expanded with a new functionality, with the tendering basket feature adding a webshop-like feel to minicompetitions.
Significant development in the Procurement Pulse service
In 2025, the focus of the development of Procurement Pulse was the introduction of our new service, the Procurement Development Indicator, as part of Procurement Pulse. The development indicator is a user-friendly self-assessment tool that allows organisations to assess the development level of their procurement.
New category develops through cooperation
The first minicompetitions for housing services for people with disabilities began in late 2024 and for child protection services and services for families with children in April 2025. Category managers have been working closely with customers and the industry to make the procurement solutions as functional as possible.
Joint competitive tendering paid off - Istekki and owner customers achieved significant savings
Istekki tendered teleoperator services for itself and four of its owner customers. The procurement ring added significant benefits to tendering, and in the tight economic situation, savings were, naturally, also sought.
The bottled gas framework agreement provided Optima with savings of more than 20 per cent
Optima, the joint education federation in Pietarsaari, wanted to enhance its gas procurement while reducing costs. Both objectives were achieved when Optima tendered gas purchases through Hansel’s framework agreement.
